Vernon Phillips Joins Rossendales Team
Rossendales are delighted to have secured the services of Vernon Phillips to strengthen the team and assist in the Company’s strategic expansion plans.
Vernon began his career as a civil servant in what was then the Lord Chancellor's Department (now the Ministry of Justice) where he held various posts in the Royal Courts of Justice, the Lands Tribunal and on High Court policy matters. He subsequently worked for the Department for Education where he again worked on policy, specifically on special education where he was involved in the setting up the Special Educational Needs Tribunal.In 2001 he became Executive Director of the Enforcement Services Association, a post he held for eight years. During his time in that post he was heavily involved in discussions with the Ministry of Justice and others, in respect of what eventually became the Tribunals Courts and Enforcement Act 2007. He was until recently Chief Executive of the High Court Enforcement Officers Association.
